Sport performance nutrition

On Your Mark Nutrition provides various packages designed for personalized nutrition that maximize strength, power, endurance, agility and speed while optimizing body composition, health and longevity based on the goals and training cycle of the athlete.

The Initial Session includes an assessment of lifestyle, short- and long-term goals, current and desired body composition, eating habits, training schedule, competition schedule, current nutritional status, menstrual cycle (for females), medications and supplement use. Plans are created based upon goals, training cycle, menstrual cycle, blood work, physiological tests, nutrient and supplementation needs. All plans include nutritional strategies that fight to prevent disease, improve body composition and enhance overall well-being that will craft a healthier lifestyle to support training, competition and recovery. The plans are intended to increase the athlete's nutritional knowledge, enhance their nutritional status and provide guidance, feedback, motivation and support.

As a professional ballet dancer, Katie has changed my whole outlook on nutrition. She gave me the tools to keep energized and full throughout long rehearsal days while helping maintain a long and lean aesthetic. Her enthusiasm for what she does comes through in her methods and approach, which as a client made me focused and motivated. I really enjoyed how she tailored and made my plan to work with my schedule and needs, and made everything seem so easy and assessable. The things Katie has taught me have helped changed my career and life for the best.

Sports Nutrition for Female Physiology: An Added value

Specifically for females, nutritional needs will be tailored to your physiology - meaning, performance will be optimized during each phase of the menstrual cycle based on hormone (e.g., estrogen, progesterone) levels. Depending on where you are at in your cycle, estrogen and progesterone will affect your plasma volume (e.g., amount of body water, which impacts hydration), ability to work hard at a high intensity and training adaptations. Nutritional guidance will be provided to make the most out of your performance and recovery by working with the hormone levels.
